We ask for the least we can and we do not sell it. This page says exactly what we hold, who touches it, and how to make us delete it.
1 · Who is responsible
Pure Red Gold Saffron Trading L.L.C (commercial licence 1450567, Dubai; Abu Dhabi branch CN-5955409) is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything on this page at shop@pureredgold.com.
2 · What we collect
- Order data — your name, delivery address, email address, telephone number, what you bought, and any gift message or delivery note you write.
- Payment data — handled by our payment provider and by Shopify. We never see or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. We see only the result of the payment and the last digits shown on the receipt.
- Messages — what you send us by email or on WhatsApp, and our replies.
- Website data — pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, collected by the analytics and security tools our hosting and checkout use.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not ask for data we have no use for.
3 · Why we use it
- To take, prepare, deliver and invoice your order, and to reach you about it.
- To handle a return, replacement or refund.
- To answer your questions, on any channel you use.
- To keep records our licences and UAE tax and commercial law require us to keep.
- To keep the site secure, detect fraud, and understand which pages are used.
- To send offers or news only if you have asked us to, and every such message carries an unsubscribe.
4 · Who else touches it
Only the parties needed to complete what you asked for:
- Shopify — our checkout and order system.
- Our payment provider — to authorise and settle card payments, and to run its own fraud checks.
- Delivery companies — the name, address and telephone number needed to deliver the parcel, and nothing else.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to contact us there, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Our hosting and analytics providers — to serve and measure the site.
Some of these process data on servers outside the UAE. Where they do, they are bound by contract to protect it to the standard described here. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We disclose data to an authority only where the law requires it.
5 · Cookies
The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work — keeping your cart, remembering your language, and securing the checkout — plus cookies that count visits so we can see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the cart and checkout will not work properly without the necessary ones.
6 · How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires. Messages are kept while they are useful for serving you and then deleted. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.
7 · Your rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data you may ask us to: tell you what we hold about you; give you a copy; correct anything wrong; delete it, where we are not required to keep it; restrict or object to a particular use; or withdraw consent you previously gave.
Write to shop@pureredgold.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first — that protects you, not us.
8 · Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the checkout is operated by Shopify under its own security programme. Card details are processed by the payment provider and never reach our systems. Access to order data inside the business is limited to the people who fulfil and account for orders. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
9 · Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed, and the version published here is the one in force.
