We deliver across the United Arab Emirates, and you can collect free from the boutique in Abu Dhabi. Some of what we make is fresh, and we would rather restrict where it goes than send it somewhere it will not arrive well.
1 · Where we deliver
Anywhere in the United Arab Emirates, subject to the restrictions on fresh items in section 4.
We also deliver saffron — threads, powder and extract — to Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain. Sweets and nuts do not leave the UAE. For anywhere else, or for wholesale, message us.
Collection is available from Level 2, Nation Towers Mall, 1st St, Al Bateen, W44, Abu Dhabi. Collection is always free. See the boutique page.
2 · What delivery costs
- Free across the UAE on orders over AED 200.
- Below that, delivery across the UAE is a flat AED 25, and within Abu Dhabi a flat AED 20. The figure is shown to you before you pay.
- To Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain: a flat AED 130.
- Boutique collection: free, always.
The rate you see at checkout is the rate you pay — there is no remote-area surcharge added afterwards. Outlying areas can take a little longer, and if an address cannot be served at all we will contact you and refund in full.
3 · How long it takes
Orders are prepared at our Abu Dhabi boutique. Orders placed before 2:00 pm on a working day are prepared the same day; orders after that, or on a Friday or a public holiday, are prepared the next working day.
- Abu Dhabi — usually within one working day of preparation.
- Rest of the UAE — typically one to three working days.
- Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain — typically three to six working days, customs permitting.
These are typical times, not guarantees. We confirm the delivery window with you before the order leaves us, and you will have tracking or a direct confirmation as soon as the parcel is collected. Ramadan, Eid, National Day and severe weather all move these numbers, and we will tell you when they do.
4 · Not everything travels the same way
- Saffron threads and saffron powder — anywhere in the UAE. They are stable, sealed and harvest-dated.
- Saffron extract — anywhere in the UAE and to the three Gulf countries above, on the quickest service available. Glass travels better when it travels quickly.
- Roasted nuts and pecan caramel — anywhere in the UAE, and not beyond it. Nuts are roasted, not preserved, and a long parcel is not kind to them.
- Every sweet we make — Mixed Sweets and the five Signature boxes — is for Abu Dhabi delivery and boutique collection only. They are made, not manufactured, and a multi-day parcel in a UAE summer is not a condition we are willing to send them in. Sealed, a Signature box keeps six months; once you open one, eat it within the week.
If your basket contains sweets and your address is outside Abu Dhabi, checkout will tell you the order cannot be delivered as it stands. Remove the sweets to have the rest sent, or message us and we will arrange them separately.
On a Gulf delivery, any customs duty or import charge is payable by the person receiving the parcel. It is set by the destination country, not by us, and it is not included in the delivery charge you pay at checkout.
5 · Receiving your order
Please give a mobile number the courier can reach on the day. Someone aged 18 or over should be available to receive the parcel. If nobody is reachable across the attempts the courier makes, the parcel returns to us: we will contact you to arrange redelivery, which may be chargeable, or refund the goods less the delivery cost already incurred.
Check the parcel on arrival. If the seal or the box is damaged, photograph it before opening if you can — it makes section 1 of the Refund & Return Policy immediate.
6 · If something goes wrong
If a parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date at shop@pureredgold.com or on WhatsApp. We will replace it or refund it — see the Refund & Return Policy.
Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — courier failure, extreme weather, road closures, public-authority action — are not something we can be liable for, but we will always tell you what is happening and you can cancel an undelivered order for a full refund.
