This website and its checkout are operated by Pure Red Gold Saffron Trading L.L.C, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under commercial licence 1450567, trading through its Abu Dhabi branch under licence CN-5955409 from Nation Towers Mall, Shop S14A, Corniche Street, Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi 20006.

2 · Using this website
By browsing this site or placing an order you accept these terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund & Return Policy, which form part of them.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree not to use the site unlawfully, not to interfere with its operation or security, and not to copy or scrape its content for commercial use.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We try to keep it available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3 · Prices, currency and tax
All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are the total price of the goods. No additional tax is added at checkout. Delivery, where it applies, is shown separately before you confirm and pay.
Prices may change without notice, but the price you see at the moment you confirm your order is the price that applies to it. If a price is published in error and the error is obvious, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it — we will contact you before doing so.
4 · Placing an order
Adding items to the cart is not an order. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract forms only when we confirm the order and payment has cleared. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an item is unavailable, where the delivery address is outside a range we can serve safely, where a price was wrong, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we do, you are refunded in full.
Please give a correct name, telephone number and address. Deliveries that fail because the address or number was wrong are treated under the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
5 · Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment provider and by Shopify; we never see or store your full card number. Orders may also be arranged over WhatsApp and paid by a secure payment link.
We do not accept cash on delivery. Orders collected at the boutique may be paid for in the boutique.
6 · Stock and availability
Stock figures published on product pages are counted at the Abu Dhabi boutique and are stated with the date they were counted. They are a snapshot, not a live feed. Occasionally an item sells across the counter at the same moment it sells online; if that happens we will contact you and either refund you in full or, with your agreement, send an alternative.
7 · Our products
We describe grade, harvest year, weight and contents as accurately as we can, and we publish the basis for our claims on the traceability page. Photographs are representative: saffron, sweets and nuts are natural products and vary in appearance between harvests and batches. Screens also render colour differently.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no product is offered as a treatment, cure or preventative for any condition.
8 · Allergens and food safety
Our sweets and nut products contain tree nuts. Which nuts differs by flavour, so each product page declares its own — with the full ingredient list and nutrition panel from the kitchen's specification sheet. Read the page for the item you are buying rather than relying on a general statement.
Two differences are worth stating here rather than leaving to a page:
- Signature Coconut contains hazelnut and almond and no pistachio, while the other Signature flavours contain pistachio. They are not interchangeable if you are allergic.
- The Mixed Sweets box holds five different pastries, and between them they contain tree nuts, sesame, gluten, milk and soy. No peanut and no egg appear in any recipe we have been given, and none of them is vegan. There is no nut-free pastry: one has no nut in its own recipe, but it is made and cut alongside the others.
Everything is made in one kitchen that handles all of these nuts, so we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact between flavours. A few ingredients are compounds our supplier has not yet broken down for us — lokum, starch and the mastic and lotus creams. Until they do, we make no gluten-free, dairy-free or soy-free claim. If you avoid any of those, or you are ordering for someone with an allergy, contact us before you order: we will ask the kitchen and tell you exactly what we are told.
Fresh items are made to be eaten soon. Storage guidance is printed on the pack and repeated on each product page; please follow it, particularly in summer.
9 · Delivery, collection, returns
Delivery areas, timings, charges and what happens when a parcel goes wrong are set out in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. What can be returned, and how a refund is issued, is set out in the Refund & Return Policy. Both form part of these terms.
10 · Gifting and made-to-order
Gift boxes, corporate orders and personalised items are made to order. Once production has begun they cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty; we will tell you when that point is reached. Lead times are agreed in writing before we start.
11 · Intellectual property
The Pure Red Gold name, wordmark, crocus mark, packaging design, photography, film and written content on this site are our property or are licensed to us. You may not reproduce them commercially, or use them in a way that suggests an association with us, without our written permission.
12 · Third-party services
Our checkout, payments, delivery and messaging rely on third parties — including Shopify, our payment provider, our couriers and WhatsApp. Using this site means your order data passes through them, as described in the Privacy Policy. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or their policies.
13 · Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality, and for the delivery service we sell you. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — including courier failure, extreme weather, and public-authority action.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing limits your rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations.
14 · Privacy
How we collect, use and protect personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
15 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page at the moment you placed it. The date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
16 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be settled between us fall to the courts of Abu Dhabi.
